How to translate YouTube Live in real time

- Your preferred subtitle language
Setup steps
- Open YouTube Live in a desktop browser.
- Open Transtream and start a translation session.
- Select the YouTube Live tab (or system audio) as the audio source.
- Choose the spoken language and the subtitle language.
- Place the subtitle panel where it doesn’t cover the player.
Tips
- Turn off YouTube’s own CC so captions don’t overlap.
- Keep playback at 1x speed for the best accuracy.
If captions don’t appear
Check that the selected tab is actually playing sound, isn’t muted, and that browser audio sharing permission is on. If you reopened the tab, reconnect the audio source.

Do I need to install an app to translate YouTube Live?
