Setup steps
- Open Japanese streams & VTubers in a desktop browser.
- Open Transtream and start a translation session.
- Select the Japanese streams & VTubers tab (or system audio) as the audio source.
- Choose the spoken language and the subtitle language.
- Place the subtitle panel where it doesn’t cover the player.
Tips
- Set the spoken language to Japanese and the subtitle language to yours.
- Talk streams translate more accurately than singing streams.
If captions don’t appear
Check that the selected tab is actually playing sound, isn’t muted, and that browser audio sharing permission is on. If you reopened the tab, reconnect the audio source.
