What you need

Setup steps

  1. Open Zoom meetings in a desktop browser.
  2. Open Transtream and start a translation session.
  3. Select the Zoom meetings tab (or system audio) as the audio source.
  4. Choose the spoken language and the subtitle language.
  5. Place the subtitle panel where it doesn’t cover the player.

Tips

If captions don’t appear

Check that the selected tab is actually playing sound, isn’t muted, and that browser audio sharing permission is on. If you reopened the tab, reconnect the audio source.

FAQ

Do I need to install an app to translate Zoom meetings?

No. Transtream runs in the browser and uses the audio of the tab you select.

Does Transtream record Zoom meetings?

No. It only shows translated captions for the audio shared with the session — it does not record, download or redistribute anything.

Which languages are supported?

More than 40, including English, Korean, Japanese and Spanish. You choose the spoken and subtitle languages separately.

Zoom meetings is a trademark of its respective owner. Transtream and live sub are independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Zoom meetings.
